SteelSeries has added two more alternatives to its IP54 waterproof and lightweight Aerox Wireless portfolio, starting today: the Aerox 5 Wireless and the Aerox 9 Wireless. The Aerox 9 Wireless, seen above, is SteelSeries‘ take on a mouse designed for MMO and MOBA games that require various instructions.
The company boasts a whopping 12 buttons on the left side, and SteelSeries says it is the lightest mouse on the market, weighing eighty-nine grams. This mouse will compete with Razer’s Naga Pro, a wireless, multi-buttoned mouse. The Aerox 9 is waterproof to IP54 and has a long battery life, but the Naga Pro’s modular design may make it the better choice for some players. The price of both mice is $149.99.
This model weighs 74 grams and charges through USB-C. SteelSeries promises that its battery would last up to 180 hours and that it will have 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless capabilities. TTC Gold micro switches are used in the Aerox 5 Wireless, which the firm says will endure up to 80 million clicks. The price of this model is $139.99.
