Samsung May Face a OnePlus Problem while Launching New Foldable Phone

Ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, OnePlus announced on Tuesday on Twitter that the firm has also planned a surprise program for August 11 at 10:00 a.m. ET. Is that just a coincidence? The overlap didn’t just end there: OnePlus also released a teaser image on Tuesday for what seems to be some type of dual-screened device which resembles the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The question is that is OnePlus also set to launch a foldable phone. Or there are chances that this new item could be som kind of an accessory as well- something similar to the possible second screen you can buy independently like it was for the LG Velvet.

In both cases, it definitely appears fair to presume that this little step was planned with the unambiguous intention of stealing Samsung thunder- something to not respect. Stolen limelight or not, Samsung event is still likely to offer some bangers, with the anticipated disclosure of the company’s Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch series, and the current oddly similar-looking Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The folding smartphones have produced a ton of hype by now, particularly since the company revealed that they would be knocking off the total program. As reported earlier, the Z Fold opens outwardly similar to a book and folds down like the flip phones of yore. In order to know what’s in store for both the firms, we all will have to stay tuned on Wednesday10:00 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT the contesting previews.
