Apple to Bring IPhone Screen Always-on Watch

As stated in the recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the IPhone which is built in the year 2021 is likely to have an always-on display which is similar to Apple’s watch. This is the feature that the Android phone has had for some time.

Gurman, in his Power on newsletter stated that the IPhone will be offering a better battery life, better facility for recording video as well as the faster A15 chip. Further, it also has a small notch on the screen and a refresh rate of 120 Hz as per the letter by Gurman.

As per the trusted sources, this has been in Apple’s experience before that the company has come to the conclusion that they are working on always-on screens for their upcoming IPhone over the last several years. As stated by the leaker Max Weinbach, in the beginning of this year that the company is likely to make use of same kind of low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) panels, that are likely to have on the watches on upcoming IPhone.

This agrees to the Bloomberg’s previous report that at least one of the upcoming four IPhone is likely to have a LTPO display. The technology is such that it dynamically adjusts the refresh rates of the screen of watches to conserve the battery life. Gurman further stated that the company is likely to make announcement regarding the new MacBook Pros by the end of this fall. The company will begin their production in the third quarter they added.
