Collection, opens Saturday June 26, 2004, and
explores a crucial artistic period of development by

Gilhooly, David Hockney, Robert Indiana, Jasper Johns,

FIRST FRIDAY FILMS
FOR JULY 2: Process Zea
(1981, 5 minutes) by Andre and Jean-Jacques Leduc,
filming its subject from an unusual perspective and as
audiences speculate on what it is they are watching as
the identity of a common object is gradually revealed,
this intriguing puzzle film provides an experience of
the perceptual process. Der
Lauf der Dinge (1987, 30 minutes) by
Peter Fischli and David Weiss without narration or
interviews - simply records the self-destructing
performance of Fischli's and Weiss' most ambitious
construction: 100 feet of physical interactions,
chemical reactions, and precisely crafted chaos worthy
of Rube Goldberg or Alfred Hitchcock.
100 Watts,
120 Volts
(1980, 9 minutes) by Carson Davidson follows the making
of a light bulb from start to finish! Scratch Animation
activity with audience participation.
